North Devon countryside is magnificent. The River Mole, meandering its way between North and South Molton, then passes through a patchwork quilt of fields, steep wooded valleys, and quiet country lanes. Mole Valley Green Burial Ground sits high above one of these quiet valleys overlooking the river.
The River Mole is a tributary of the River Taw which rises on the southwestern border of Exmoor.
The burial ground is situated away from Woodhouse Organic Farm in an elevated position at the top of a field adjacent to a wood. Surroundings are tranquil with country sounds in the background. (See Views and Maps below).
Traditional species of trees may be planted and allowed to grow naturally to maturity.
